Hey everyone, I've been looking at repo auctions and keep seeing CJ Motors pop up. I'm interested in bidding on a truck but wanted to hear from anyone who's actually bought from them recently. Are they legit? How's the whole process work? Any feedback would be appreciated before I jump in.

I just bought a 2019 Chevy Silverado from cjmotors.com last month. Super smooth experience honestly. Bid online, won it, paid through their system, and they delivered it to my place about 8 days later. The truck was exactly as described in the listing photos. No complaints at all.

I was nervous too but went ahead with a 2020 Honda CR-V in December. Best decision I made tbh. Got it for way under market value and everything checked out perfectly. The clear title came with the vehicle when it was delivered, which was a huge relief because I'd heard horror stories from other auction sites.

Yep they're legit. I've actually bought 3 vehicles from them over the past 2 years for my small lot. Never had any issues with paperwork or delivery. The auction process on cjmotors.com is straightforward once you get the hang of it.

I had a slight hiccup with customer service taking about 36 hours to respond to my email at office@cjmotors.com when I had questions about payment options. But once they got back to me, the rep was really helpful and walked me through everything. Ended up getting a 2018 Ford Escape and it arrived in great shape.

@TommyB I think they just get a lot of volume sometimes. I emailed them on a Friday and heard back Monday morning which seemed reasonable to me. My experience with CJ Motors was really positive overall - bought a 2021 Mazda CX-5 for my daughter and she loves it.

Thanks for all the replies! This is really helpful. @RoadKing55 how long did the whole process take from winning the bid to getting the truck delivered?

@DaveM78 I won the auction on a Thursday, made payment Friday morning, and they delivered it the following Friday. So about 8 business days total. They kept me updated through email the whole time which was nice.

Just to add my 2 cents - I bought a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 from them in November. The condition report was spot-on accurate. There was a small dent on the rear bumper that was clearly shown in the photos, and that was literally the only issue. Engine runs perfectly and I've put about 3000 miles on it since. No issues with the title either - everything was handled professionally.

I'm actually in the same boat as OP. Been watching the listings on cjmotors.com for a few weeks now. Seeing all these positive experiences is making me more confident about placing my first bid. Do they add new inventory regularly?

@SarahK_OR Yeah they update pretty regularly, I'd say check back every few days. New repos come in all the time so the inventory changes. Pro tip: set up alerts for the type of vehicle you want so you don't miss anything good.

Another satisfied customer here. Got a 2019 Toyota Camry last month from CJ Motors and it's been perfect for my commute. The whole online auction thing seemed sketchy at first but the delivery process was professional and the vehicle matched the description exactly. Would definitely buy from them again.

I was worried about the title situation too when I bought my 2020 Nissan Rogue in January. But honestly it was the smoothest part of the whole thing. The bank cleared everything right after my payment went through and the clear title arrived with the vehicle during delivery. No chasing anything down or dealing with DMV nightmares like I expected.

I'm a mechanic and my buddy asked me to check out a 2018 Jeep Wrangler he got from cjmotors.com. I went over it pretty thoroughly and honestly it was in exactly the condition they described in the listing. No hidden issues, no surprises. That says a lot about their accuracy imo.

My husband and I bought a 2021 Honda Odyssey for our family in December. We needed something reliable for the kids and this has been perfect. The whole process through CJ Motors was way easier than going to traditional dealerships. No pushy salespeople, just straightforward bidding and delivery.

I had a tiny issue with the website timing out once when I was trying to place a bid, but I just refreshed and it worked fine. Other than that minor glitch the whole experience was good. Got a 2019 Subaru Outback that's been great for winter driving.

Alright you guys have convinced me lol. I'm going to browse the listings tonight and probably place a bid this week. Really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences. Makes me feel way more confident about this.

If you're looking for something specific, definitely check regularly like @mike_houston said. I was hunting for an older truck and found a 2016 GMC Sierra that was perfect for what I needed. The patient approach pays off with repo auctions.

Just wanted to chime in with another positive experience. Bought a 2020 Kia Sportage in late January and the delivery was actually 2 days earlier than they originally estimated. The driver was professional and went through everything with me. Best part was not having to chase down the title - it was all handled by CJ Motors and arrived perfectly with all the official paperwork.

@DaveM78 since you're in Phoenix too, I'll tell you I got a 2018 Toyota Tacoma from them back in October. Delivery to Arizona was smooth and the vehicle has been solid. You're making a good choice checking them out.

Another vote of confidence here. I actually buy vehicles for resale and CJ Motors has been one of my go-to sources for over a year now. The consistency and reliability matter a lot when you're doing volume, and they've delivered every time. Just bought a 2019 Ford Explorer last week actually.
